The Sound Investment Community Choir Music Director and Accompanist

                                         Aaron Bell

Originally from the Niagara Region, Aaron is a graduate of Brock and York Universities, where he studied Trumpet Performance and Music Education.  Aaron began his teaching career at Midland Secondary School in 2001.  While in Midland, Aaron held the position of Worship Director at Midland Alliance Church for eight years.  In addition to his work as an instrumental music teacher at MSS, Aaron directed Chaverim, a 25 member non-denominational Christian Youth Choir, which travelled throughout Central and Southern Ontario.  Following his time with Chaverim, Aaron took on the role of Artistic Director for Vox Huronia Community Choir, a position he held for 6 years prior to moving to Collingwood.

 Once in Collingwood, Aaron took on the role of Worship Director at New Life Community Church, a position he held for three years.  Aaron is currently entering his sixth year teaching at Collingwood Collegiate Institute.  He is the Arts Department Chair, teaching instrumental and vocal music, as well as directing numerous performance ensembles for students in Grades 9 through 12 in Simcoe County's largest music program.  Aaron lives in Collingwood with his wife Sara.  He has two daughters, Heidi and Ava.

Keiko Yoden- Kuepfer

The Sound Investment Community Choir is indeed fortunate to have such an accomplished and talented accompanist as Keiko Yoden- Kuepfer, recipient of the Immigrant Artist of 2015 at the Simcoe County Newcomer Recognition Awards.  

Keiko Kuepfer has accompanied the choir since 2010 and continues to amaze us with her professional contribution.  Originally from Katano-city, Osaka, Japan, a sister city of Collingwood,  Keiko immigrated to Canada and has made Collingwood her home since 2006.  Keiko started piano lessons at the age of 7, organ lessons at the age of 13 and double bass lessions at age 18.  She has a university degree in Music Education, as ARCT in piano and is an active member of the Royal Canadian College of Organists.  Keiko is organist and Music Director at All Saints Anglican Church, Collingwood, involved with RCM and Ontario Provincial Music Festival and is very active in the musical life of the community.
